When J is away I ...
... turn the heat up and put extra blankets on the bed!
... keep the night light on in the bathroom
... spend way too much time at Michael's, contemplating what to spend my 40% off coupon on
... eat salad and peanutbutter cups for supper
... don't refill the water jug
... and still get up at 5:30 am, even though it's not necessary!

A Series of Unfortunate Events

Most people might consider giving up their cars for environmental reasons, but I think we should get rid of our car for our own personal safety! Our car was rear ended on Friday afternoon, by someone who was definitely not paying attention to the line up of stopped vehicles in front of him. This is the 4th time we've been hit by other drivers since we starting buying Honda vehicles in 2002. Our previous Civic was back into by a van, t-boned by another car and also had a delivery truck back into the side of it. Our current Honda has been broken into twice and now needs a new back end! (to the tune of $2500!) My new theory is that people who don't own Hondas are trying to make life miserable for those of us that do!
